I Declare Puma Speedcats the Official Sneaker of 2025

We’ve been making our way towards this as a society for years now. The chunky Air Force One of 2018 led to the Nike Dunk obsession which gave way to the slimmer Adidas Gazelle. Now we’ve arrived here, at the even slimmer, even sleeker, Puma Speedcat.

I think my favorite thing about the Speedcat is the black sole. Especially in the colder months, the sneaker blends in with your wool pants and dark denim. They’re “barely-there” and sometimes I choose them over my standard black boot. They don’t look as casual as your typical sneaker. The suede exterior doesn’t hurt.

I love the sporty look of the narrow silhouette and I love that they’re $100 even. I’ve been living in the PUMA Black and on January 1st Puma dropped Dark Myrtle and Archive Gold.

The Whisp of Pink would be perfect for spring, but For All Time Red is next on my list. They’re the sneaker of the year! And not to mention incredibly comfy. xx
